Yay! It's time for a new academic year. My classes begin next week. What about you?

I always spend this week before classes begin setting up my semester for success. I try to get as much done this week for my classes as possible so that it's smooth(er) sailing during the rest of the term when the unexpected inevitably happens.

Action Steps

  • Determine your Areas of responsibility
  • Reflect on your Practices
  • Create an ideal week
  • Coordinate course schedules to not overwhelm you during any week of the term

All of those steps are from my general process, and the Semester Start Up Challenge I hosted last January. You're welcome to go start the challenge today to get a jump start on your semester.

Did you take action?

Hit that button and let's celebrate your win!

Keep exploring,

Another person made strides in redesigning a course, and another found decided a journal and started drafting an article from their dissertation!...

Hi Reader!I've been MIA. Was the end of the semester/year a doozy for the rest of you? I thought I'd give you some updates and tell you about my big goals for the upcoming year. As I've mentioned before, I do strategic planning retreats and quarterly planning sessions. I also do regular weekly reviews using my Full Focus Planner.
